About HELPING PAWS RESCUE:
Helping Paws Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, 100% volunteer-run animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then place them in foster homes until we are able to adopt them into loving homes they need and deserve! Helping Paws Rescue relies on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers like you who open their hearts and homes to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need our help.
We hope in our efforts to make a difference that we may also educate the public as to the importance of proper animal care, spaying and neutering, and the need for rescues like ours to help animals in need. While we realize we can’t save every animal, we are dedicated to making a difference, however small. We try our best to match the right dog to each potential owner.

This is Miss Jazzi in one of her office outfits for the business environment.
This is Miss Jazzi in one of her office outfits for the business environment.
It is a four ply pink, tutu sweater in solid blush pink and a candy variegated three layer tutu skirt.
It is accented with a beautiful matching bow, and pointed collar.
In accessories she also has matching pink bows for her ears which she chose not to wear as today was a business casual day.

So the saying "Be Careful What You Ask For" is so true!
I reached out to my local community and asked for gently used or end of the skein left over wool.
I had adopted Miss Jazzi in December 2021. She was underweight and her fur was thin. She really needed some sweaters. I didn't want to pay the crazy prices for premade clothes from the pet stores and online.
I enjoy knitting and crocheting; so why not???
It's my Zen.
I wanted to repurpose and use what others were going to toss aside from prior projects.
Plus the price of wool right now is crazy expensive!
Well, the picture I received above was the response!
It was so heart warming!
Not only did I receive end of skeins, but I received bags upon bags, upon bags of brand new, excellent quality wool!
Blues, pinks, purples, variegated colours, peach, greens, tans, yellows, white, black, reds, and the list goes on!
So I decided to pay it forward!
I am going to be knitting and crocheting my way through all the wool you see above.
There will be no set prices.
I can't afford postage but things can always be worked out.
The prices are what you feel is fair, keeping in mind that you are making a donation to an Ontario, Canada "No Kill" dog rescue that is doing all they do with their hearts.
Please also keep in mind that there are some wools that are of exceptional quality so a donation accordingly would be greatly appreciated.
I will be making:
- Sweaters (girls and boys)
- Hats
- Tutus (Crochet)
- Knitted ear bows
- Crochet ear flowers
- Neck bands with bows
- Neck bands flowers (some with leaves)
- Knitted bow ties
- Full sets (sweater, hat, neck band)
If there is enough wool, if I receive more wool donations or I become bored knitting just sweaters; I may make some little blankets for the "little ones" car beds.
All proceeds in full will go to HELPING PAWS RESCUE.
So lets have a heart and Pay It Forward!
